What We Offer
Thankfully there are major and minor league baseball players who are true believers and are not ashamed to tell the world about their faith in Jesus Christ. UPI makes use of the visiblity of these pro-players to attract young people and adults to evangelistic baseball clinics. These clinics are held year round in various cities across North America.
Camps
Unlimited Potential is in demand to conduct and instruct week-long Christian baseball camps around the world.
Speakers Division
The UPI Staff maintains a full schedule of speaking to Christian groups, retreats, and churches. Their purpose is to clearly present Biblical truth and dynamics for obedient and victorious Christian living and service, with an emphasis on missions.
International
The Olympics has aided the fact that the sport of baseball is becoming well-known throughout the world. Baseball transcends culture, and provides a forum for presenting Jesus Christ to young people and adults at baseball fields in every corner of the globe. UPI has conducted clinics in over 25 countries, including places like Uganda, Thailand, Russia, China, and Venezuela.
Discipleship
God's Word says "...make disciples..."! UPI is committed to equipping players for spiritual growth. This happens through Bible studies, accountability groups, one-on-one discipleship, prayer, and publicly sharing their faith. Those attending UPI outreaches and studies are encouraged to involve themselves in local Bible-believing churches.
The Mission: To assist commanders and chaplains in providing religious support to military service members and their families by sharing the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ through the medium of baseball as presented by professional baseball players. Since 1997 Unlimited Potential, Inc. has had the unique privilege of ministry by bringing their talents and experiences in the Major Leagues to the military. There are amazing parallels in the lives of the service member and the Major Leaguer. They encounter some of the same challenges, like team work, values, and striving for excellence.
