Alumni
For almost 30 years UPI has been serving Christ through baseball. Many have participated in Bible Studies, outreaches, as missionaries or in one-on-one life teaching events with the ministry.
One of our goals is to get us all back together in person and on the net. We are in the process of setting up UPI Alumni gatherings across the USA. You are part of our fraternity! UPI Alumni is about remembering, thanking, caring and listening to you! Coming together to share hurts, trials and success stories. To laugh and to cry. To express how God has been near or how you have struggled with your faith.
We are here to encourage and help you. Here is our basic action plan as a UPI Alumni organization:
UPI ALUMNI PLAN OF ACTION
Communicate: The UPI staff continue to build and maintain relationships with UPI alumni, providing emails, newsletters, and surveys to get your opinions and share UPI trips, outreaches and happenings.
Assist: UPI will continue to foster a spirit of giving and sharing your lives with present players. No one understands the baseball culture like you do!
Resource: UPI is establishing an active UPI alumni and current players database that is state of the art. This can be useful to alumni for infinite possibilities, including locating past players and friends with addresses and emails.
Enrich-Educate: We are built for relationship. UPI will attempt to set up gatherings and entertainment opportunities in various geographical locations. A time to connect and catch up, update face-to-face plus enjoy some good food! UPI will also make available all discipleship materials we have for current players to Alumni for the purpose of your continued spiritual growth.
