I came to know Jesus at a church camp when I was eleven years old and I spent the next three years reading a childrens Bible. Sports became my god and I quickly began to lose my first love. While attending the University of Louisville I tore my right ACL and was out of baseball for a year. I became involved in gambling and was suspended by the NCAA for 14 games. My girlfriend broke up with me. All this took place over a three-month period.
In April of 1993, at the urging of my sister, I repented and my life has never been the same! King Solomon wrote about life and came to this conclusion: Without God in the middle, life is meaningless! Christ has given me life because He is the Author and Perfecter of it.
