In this week’s episode, Mickey takes us through 1 Samuel 17-26. We’ll see how David’s faith drives him to defeat Goliath and how his faith leads him in difficult circumstances. We’ll also see how Saul’s fear drives him to seek David’s death and do unimaginable atrocities.

The connection and separation worldviews are on full display through the very different lives of David and Saul. David’s connection to the Lord leads him to seek God’s direction as he deals with Saul. In contrast, Saul’s separation from the Lord leads him to envy, jealousy, and fear of losing his kingdom.

Mickey encourages us to trust God’s timing in our lives and to expose our fears so that we can bring them before the Lord and allow Him to deal with them properly.

2. What fear or fears is the Lord attempting to reveal to me through my current circumstances?

3. Am I more focused on a determined outcome in my life that is drawing me away from Jesus or more focused on my daily walk with Him?
