2025 Episode 28, The Gospel according to Luke 7-11
In this episode, Brian explores the difference between having faith in Jesus and living with the faith of Jesus—and what that kind of faith looks like when put into action.
He examines this distinction by contrasting the disciples’ fear during the storm with the Roman centurion’s confident trust. Brian also reflects on Jesus sending out the disciples to announce that the Kingdom of God is near, highlighting their excitement upon returning from this mission.
Next, he looks at faith in action through the story of the Good Samaritan, showing how and why his response stood in stark contrast to that of the religious leaders.
Finally, Brian leaves us with a challenging question: What would it look like if I had the faith of Jesus—and actually lived it out?
