Community Of Faith
In this week’s episode, Tony wraps up Hebrews and takes us through James, highlighting faith—not just as belief, but as something meant to be lived out in community, stirring one another on toward love and good works.
He then looks at Hebrews 11—the Hall of Faith—pointing out that these were ordinary people with deep trust in God and His promises, and challenges us to lay aside anything that hinders our walk with Jesus.
Finally, Tony examines the authentic and loving community described at the end of James—one that rejoices together, confesses sin, prays for one another, and pursues and restores those who have wandered.
He challenges us to honestly examine our lives and consider whether we are truly living out this kind of faith-filled community.
Digging Deeper Reflection Questions:
1. Are you part of a healthy community of Jesus followers…Or are you going it alone? And if so, Why?
2. What are the weights that hold you back…Or the sin that so easily entangles you? Can you take those to Jesus?
3. And in your community…Are you practicing confession…forgiveness…and restoration?
We pray this week’s readings, episode, and Digging Deeper questions both challenge and encourage you as you continue to grow in your faith.
